The cozy room had great heating, lighting, a work desk, and an electric tea kettle. The lobby/lounge at the restaurant was inviting. Excellent location to explore the Myvatn area. Interesting view of the milking room from the restaurant. Fresh milk tasting was expected but didn't happen.

This guesthouse was an ideal choice for our city trip. the location was perfect, with all the main attractions within a short walk. We loved the fact that there were three supermarkets nearby, making it convenient to stock up on supplies. the guesthouse was clean and tidy, and the showers were nice and hot. the kitchen was well-equipped, and we enjoyed preparing our own meals and saving money. the complimentary coffee and tea in the rooms were a nice touch for a morning pick-me-up.
While there were very minor drawbacks, such as the double bed being two singles pushed together and the lack of a double duvet, these were really scraping the barrel. the only other downside was that there was only one toilet and shower for several rooms, which occasionally caused some inconvenience.

The kitchen facilities were great and the bathroom was always clean. Being able to do laundry was a big plus. Checking in and getting the key was hassle-free.
The one downside I experienced was the cleanliness of the shared toilets. They were quite dirty, even worse than some camping site toilets I've encountered.

Our room at Refurinn was very modern and clean, offering everything we needed for our stay. We especially loved the large selection of tea in the room and the well-furnished kitchen. The location in the embassy district made it convenient to explore the city, and the easy check-in with keyboxes was a plus.
In regards to parking, although it wasn't always easy, we managed to find local parking around the corner. The kitchen was a bit small, but still functional for one party at a time.

Our stay at Refurinn Reykjavik Guesthouse was fantastic. The location was ideal, just a short walk to downtown Reykjavik and the beautiful harbor. The check-in system was very convenient, allowing us to arrive late at night and still easily get our key. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a cozy atmosphere. We loved the in-room coffee setup, it made waking up in the morning a calm and enjoyable experience. The bathrooms were clean and we never had to wait for a shower. The kitchen was well-equipped and we had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Although there were some minor drawbacks, such as the lack of hooks or storage space for clothes, and the view of a nearby building from our room, these did not significantly impact our overall experience. We would definitely stay at Refurinn Reykjavik Guesthouse again and highly recommend it to others.

The location of this guesthouse was perfect for my business trip. It was within walking distance of everything I needed, including the tour buses and the beautiful harbour. The convenience of having supermarkets within a 10-minute walk was also a huge plus. The guesthouse was clean and tidy, with nice hot showers and excellent WiFi. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals or snacks. it was a great place to stay for those on a reasonable budget.
That the 'double bed' was actually two singles pushed together, which made it a bit uncomfortable for a contact sleeper like me. Additionally, the rooms could get a bit stuffy when the shades were down due to the lack of air circulation.

The location of Refurinn Guesthouse was absolutely perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the city center and a 2-minute drive to the old harbor. The room was nice with a bathroom sink, table and chairs, and provided coffee and tea. The guesthouse also had several new bathrooms available on every floor.

The value for money at this guesthouse was great. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms had nice hot showers. the check-in system was convenient, with keys left in a lockbox. Plus, the location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the center of town and close to all the places we wanted to visit.
That the rooms could get a bit stuffy when the shades were down. It was necessary to keep the shades down at night because of the continuous daylight in summer, but this made the rooms a little warm.

The location of this place was perfect! It was within walking distance to the main bus station and the harbor, making it super convenient. Plus, there were three supermarkets nearby, which was really handy. the rooms were clean and tidy, and the showers had nice hot water. the WiFi was excellent and the kitchen was well-equipped, so we were able to save money by preparing our own meals. They even had coffee and tea in the rooms, which was a nice touch for the mornings.
If I had to nitpick, I would say that the bed was not the most comfortable. It was actually two single beds pushed together, which meant they would sometimes separate during the night.

I recently stayed at a charming guesthouse in a fantastic location. The room on the first floor was cozy and comfortable, with a sink and mirror/vanity, as well as coffee and tea facilities. The shared bathrooms were well-maintained and I never had to wait for them. The kitchen, although small, had everything I needed and each room had allocated space in the fridge. The room itself had a cabin-like feel with great heating, lighting, and a well-sized work desk. The lobby/lounge area in the restaurant/reception building was also very attractive and comfortable. a great experience at Refurinn Guesthouse.
Nothing, no complaints at all. 🌟

Very comfortable beds and clean rooms. The shower was good and they even offered a washer/dryer at a reasonable price, which was convenient during our stay. Great location within walking distance from all the main attractions of the city center. It was easy to explore the city and its landmarks. The owner was friendly and accommodating, making our stay more enjoyable.
The renovations in the guesthouse seemed incomplete, although it didn't affect our stay. The unfinished aspects of the place were noticeable but everything was still usable and clean.
